Paul Raudnitz: Notable case
R v Satkunanathan & others (2007)Paul Raudnitz was leading counsel for a company accountant charged as the pivotal player in a seven-handed breach of trust fraud conspiracy. The three-month trial combined a fierce ‘cut-throat’ defence with a complex claim of duress, based on psychiatric susceptibility to threats arising from post-traumatic stress disorder.
