Review of OFT Consultation - Proposed Changes to Guidance Note on Applications for Leniency and No-action in Cartel Cases
5.12.2012

OFT's supplementary consultation on proposed changes to its existing guidance note on the handling of applications for leniency and no-action in cartel cases

From 10th October to 14th November 2012 the OFT ran a supplementary consultation (OFT803suppcon) on proposed changes to its existing guidance note on the handling of applications for leniency and no-action (OFT803), which has been in force since December 2008.  This supplementary consultation is solely concerned with the requiring or otherwise of Legal Professional Privilege waivers, and arises out of responses to their previous, more wide-ranging, consultation (OFT803con) which ran from October 2011 to January 2012.
