‘QEB Hollis Whiteman is "a great set for general crime matters," not only because of its complement of talented barristers, but also because of its commitment to the field. Several sources praised it for hosting "always topical and informative" conferences and lectures which allow practitioners to keep up with current trends. The barristers here are all "extremely savvy".’
Chambers UK (2010)

At QEB Hollis Whiteman we have a long and proud tradition of outstanding criminal advocacy. We provide specialist criminal barristers who defend and prosecute at every stage of proceedings, from Magistrates' Courts to the House of Lords.

Our work encompasses the most serious, complex and high-profile criminal cases: murder, terrorism, corporate manslaughter, serious sexual offences and serious organised crime, including major drugs conspiracies and armed robberies.

We are also involved in advising on criminal money laundering and other regulatory matters arising during internal investigations conducted by private clients.

We welcome instructions in less serious cases: for example, we regularly appear in all types of road traffic cases.

We are able to offer excellence and expertise at all levels. Our exceptional team of junior barristers can draw on the skills and experience of 13 QCs, three Treasury Counsel and one Standing Counsel to the Revenue and Customs Prosecutions Office.
