Crime and Regulatory

Fallon’s principle area of practice is general crime, appearing in the Crown Court, Youth Court and Magistrates’ Court. To date, she has gained considerable experience defending in a wide variety of cases including sexual assault, affray, robbery, fraud, and various road traffic offences. During this time Fallon has developed a particular interest in youth justice and working with vulnerable clients, having represented people with a history of mental health issues and those suffering from drug addiction.

More recently, whilst on secondment with Peters and Peters Solicitors LLP, Fallon assisted in a bribery case specifically in relation to a company's compliance with disclosure notices issued by the Serious Fraud Office under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988. In this capacity, she advised on legal professional privilege and other criminal law matters. 

Regulatory and Disciplinary Work

Fallon is currently instructed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and is keen to expand on her skills and experience in regulatory proceedings. She has also provided advice to Northumbria Police Federation in relation to the Raoul Moat case.

Previous Employment

Prior to commencing pupillage Fallon worked as Legal Assistant at Kingsley Napley Solicitors LLP where she was responsible for the day to day preparation of Security Industry Authority licensing appeals in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

In addition, prior to being called to the Bar, Fallon worked for Revenue and Customs Prosecutions Office, Matrix Chambers, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Sherman Bowen & Co Solicitors.
