Summary
Alexandra Felix undertakes a combination of prosecution and defence in fraud and general crime.Alexandra has developed a successful practice prosecuting and defending in all manner of frauds including high profile cases. She successfully argued a point of law on theft in the Court of Appeal for which the case is now an authority. The work she undertakes ranges from multi-handed mortgage and benefit frauds to matters alleging high value fraudulent trading as well as a conspiracy to defraud a NHS trust.
Her case work includes offences of violence: she has been a led junior prosecuting murders, a led junior defending in baby shaking cases and gross negligence manslaughter and has prosecuted and defended Section 18 offices alone. She has also acted in sexual offences(both prosecuting and defending), evasion of duty and serious drugs offences.
She is experienced in single and multi handed cases and has a thoughtful and perceptive approach to conflicts between Co-Defendants.
Her regulatory and disciplinary tribunal work includes representation at the General Medical Council, General Dental Council and Police Disciplinary Tribunal. She has particular experience in defending police officers both at tribunals and in criminal courts.

While working as a Senior lecturer at Anglia University (1992-1999), Alexandra jointly set up Sports Law Research Centre and has published widely in the field of Sports Law.Member of:
