‘At QEB Hollis Whiteman “the clerks are efficient… and the quality of tenants is consistently high”.’
Legal 500 (2009) QEB Hollis Whiteman chambers specialises, in particular, in three main practice areas: Crime, Fraud and Regulatory. In relation to general crime, our members have appeared to prosecute and defend in many of the most significant and high-profile criminal trials of the last 40 years. We offer wide-ranging expertise at all levels, including senior QCs and junior barristers. Our pupils are actively involved in assisting in general crime cases. We also welcome private instructions in other matters, such as road-traffic offences. At QEB Hollis Whiteman, we have an excellent and well-established reputation for expertise in fraud. As with general crime, our barristers have appeared in many of the most important criminal trials for fraud and are regularly involved in associated matters, such as asset confiscation. Our strong regulatory team has an outstanding reputation in regulatory prosecutions and is now building a comparable reputation for excellence in regulatory defence work, which has seen the volume of this work increase substantially. Our regulatory specialists appear at a number of tribunals, in particular at healthcare tribunals. |
