Recommended as a Leading Silk in Crime

"David Jeremy QC is an 'authoritive and commanding advocate', and has 'encyclopaedic knowledge'." Legal 500 (2013) Crime.

David Jeremy QC "focuses on what really matters in a case."  Legal 500 2011

He "commands the respect of all those he appears before and those he represents."  Legal 500 2010

David Jeremy QC is a consummate criminal advocate.  His range extends across fraud and corruption – he is currently prosecuting a corruption case at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (R v R and S); Judicial Review (currently representing the Home Office in BSG v SFO and SSHD); as well as main stream crime including private advisory work.

He can talk to the jury as well to the judge.  He has participated in many cases in which the prosecution has called accomplices and/or informants including evidence of resident informants (supergrasses), cell confessions, participating informants and defendants or potential defendants who chose to give evidence (Queen’s Evidence) for the prosecution.  His experience and expertise is demanded where complications of law exist or intricate expert evidence is needed and he is instructed by many regulators for specialist criminal advice (such as disclosure).

He has extensive experience in PII, covert surveillance and disclosure generally.  While he has both prosecuted and defended in the highest profile criminal cases he also acts for any client who values skilled advocacy that is based upon the application of George Orwell's rules ('Politics and the English Language' - 1946).

He has also recorded a podcast on the difficulties surrounding DNA evidence.

David Jeremy QC features regularly in Chambers UK and other legal directories and has been recommended in crime for many years.  Other commments have included:
