During September 2010 Jeremy visited the Bahamas where he was involved in teaching advocacy techniques to members of the local Bar, including defence and prosecution lawyers and members of the Attorney General’s Department.

Career Details
Jeremy Donne has an extensive practice, covering fraud, crime, disciplinary and regulatory work.As Queen’s Counsel and formerly as a leading junior barrister he has extensive experience of directing and conducting cases of significant complexity and scale including multi-defendant fraud and multi-murder/multi-defendant trials with the assistance of two juniors.
Jeremy Donne QC has led for the prosecution in over 40 murders, including Operation Trident cases. Many of the trials have involved particularly complex evidential and legal issues.
He has advised HM Attorney General in terrorist cases and prosecuted Official Secrets Act matters. He has also conducted shipping and pollution cases in the criminal courts for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and other regulatory bodies.
He has extensive experience of both prosecuting and defending before professional disciplinary tribunals, including the General Medical Council, Hearing Aid Council and Police disciplinary tribunals. He is also experienced in inquests.
Jeremy Donne’s pro-bono work has included capital appeals before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. He has represented British Nationals on a pro-bono basis working with Fair Trials International; in 2008 he was granted permission by the Chief Justice of Maharashtra to appear in the Mumbai Court of Appeal to assist the local Bar.
