Regulatory: Industry Bodies
Security Industry Authority (SIA) QEB Hollis Whiteman barristers are regularly instructed to appear on behalf of the Security Industry Authority, the body responsible for regulating the private security industry. We have worked closely with the SIA since its creation, providing advice on general matters of law and function as well as acting on their behalf, most recently before the High Court. We continue to be involved in key cases for the SIA, such as the first prosecution of a company under the Private Security and Industry Act 2001. |
