The long-awaited new sentencing guidelines for health and safety and corporate manslaughter offences will be published in November this year and take effect in early 2016. Based on the consultation draft, it is expected that the guidelines will require courts to adopt an entirely new approach to sentencing in these cases that will inevitably lead to a huge increase in fines imposed for medium-sized and large companies.

QEB Hollis Whiteman Chambers and Kingsley Napley LLP Solicitors invite you to join us for a breakfast seminar introducing the new guidelines and discussing their likely impact in practice.

Location: QEB Hollis Whiteman, 1-2 Laurence Pountney Hill, London EC4R 0EU
