R v Foster (2018)

Prosecution of a 24-year-old man after a young girl's body was found in a wardrobe.

Crispin Aylett QC led Nicholas Corsellis in the prosecution of Ashley Foster, a 24-year-old male who sexually assaulted and murdered Megan Bills, a 17-year-old female. After murdering Miss Bills, he wrapped her body in a curtain and left the body in the wardrobe of his hostel. The body was left for 18 days and was only discovered after the smell had been reported to the hostel manager.

Ashley Foster was given a life sentence and has to serve 26 years minimum.
