Peter Finnigan was junior prosecution counsel in the trials of Meehan & others and Hening & others, which had originally been a single trial.
The cases arose out of Operations Maypole & Lychees in 2006 and led to the longest ever sentence for fraud.
Peter Finnigan is currently leading the multi million pound confiscation proceedings in the Court of Appeal.
