Selva Ramasamy QC represented a custody sergeant, Sergeant Chastney in disciplinary proceedings and in an inquest into the death of Martin Leck whilst in custody.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct had made significant criticisms of the officer, however, analysis of the evidence revealed that the officer had been failed by others in his team.
