Mark Ellison and Ben FitzGerald led a seminar on the current principles of corporate criminal liability and proposals for reform in the future.
The seminar explored the detail of the law as it stands, the weaknesses in the identification doctrine that can serve to protect those presently accused of corporate offending, and the alternative regimes which the UK Government may seek to impose in order to achieve stricter corporate compliance with the criminal law.
