Philip Stott prosecutes barrister jailed for encouraging supply of drugs from own clients

 

Barrister, Henry Hendron was today sentenced to a total of 14 months’ imprisonment by HHJ Mann KC at Woolwich Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to encouraging the supply of Class A drugs (crystal methamphetamine) and a Class C drug (gamma-butryolactone) to himself from two men he was also representing as clients in criminal cases. Mr Hendron was also sentenced for possession of crystal methamphetamine. This case, believed to be without any precedent in this jurisdiction, was prosecuted by Philip Stott, instructed by the Complex Casework Unit of the Crown Prosecution Service.
