FCA Dinner in Chambers
Mark Steward, Director of Enforcement and Market Oversight, and a member of the Executive Committee at the FCA, and Claire Lipworth, Chief Criminal Counsel at the FCA, have kindly agreed to attend and provoke a roundtable discussion on all matters concerning FCA regulatory and criminal proceedings.
The dinner will be attended by our guests from the FCA, plus a mixture of members of QEB Hollis Whiteman and senior lawyers in private practice from a number of leading City firms.
The objectives are to highlight any interesting cases and complex legal issues which have occurred recently. The dinner will give our guests the opportunity to discuss these issues with likeminded professionals in these particular practice areas.
Learning outcomes are to encourage more dialogue between the FCA and defence practitioners which will hopefully ensure that future proceedings are more productive
Business Crime and Financial Regulation.
