A mixed audience of financial crime lawyers, banking and finance professional and academics heard something a little different from our three knowledgeable and entertaining speakers.
Terri Duhon kicked off with an informative and amusing overview of the different elements of the industry with particular emphasis on the differing cultures and their effect for regulators; Steve Smith shared his personal view of the challenges facing the Financial Crime Team in a major global bank and Michael Sheren gave a fascinating insight into the impact the 'FinTech' companies are already having on more traditional players in the market and on regulation.
