Philip Evans QC chaired initial RFU disciplinary panel into alleged Barbarian Covid-19 breaches

Philip Evans QC chaired the RFU’s directions hearing into thirteen Barbarian players who were charged with coronavirus protocol breaches. The Barbarian game against England was cancelled as a result of the breaches.

Players faced charges including allegations of “individual breaches of Covid protocols” and “providing false statements during an investigation.”
