Tom Kark QC and John Lynch have begun legal argument on behalf of the General Medical Council in the Fitness to Practice case against Waney Squier. 

Dr Squier who specialises in shaken baby syndrome, has indicated that she will contest the charges. The current hearing is expected to last two weeks before a full hearing in March next year.
