Natasha Tahta acts for SRA in Solicitor violence and dishonesty matter

Natasha, instructed by the SRA, presented before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in the matter of Gavin Dowell. 

Mr Dowell, an experienced solicitor, has been struck off following an incident at a youth rugby match. Mr Dowell, who was a coach at a rugby club in Bristol, head-butted one of his fellow coaches after an on-field altercation between two players. 

The victim was hit with considerable force and has lost at least 60% of the vision in his left eye. 

Mr Dowell was struck off and also ordered to pay costs of £9102.
