Paul Wakerley and Polly Dyer successfully appeal convictions, based upon allegations of theft of investors' funds, to the full court.

Paul was instructed post-conviction and sentence to review the case and seek to find any arguable grounds. The central grounds were as to the use of bad character evidence during the trial. Polly conducted the oral hearing at which the Court agreed that the convictions were no longer safe.

A re-trial has been ordered.
