Philip Evans appointed to EPCR Disciplinary Panel

QEB Hollis Whiteman barrister Philip Evans has been appointed as a member of the European Professional Club Rugby Disciplinary Panel for the 201516 competition.

Philip has been on the Rugby Football Union (RFU) Disciplinary Panel for a number of years and sits as a chairman on sports tribunals convened by the RFU both at first instance and at appellate level. He has given judgments in several high profile rugby matters.  Philip regularly acts as Judicial Officer to various international rugby tournaments.

As well as his work in the fields of sports and regulatory/disciplinary law,  Philip specialises in serious and complex criminal matters.
