Alstom is a multi-national corporation with its headquarters in Paris. It is engaged in the transport and power markets. This case involved a multi-phase prosecution of the corporate and individuals in relation to bribery allegations occurring in multiple countries involving millions of pounds.
David Spens KC and Philip Evans KC represented Nicholas Reynolds, the Global Sales and Technology Director for bribery in respect of two contracts worth €225 million to refurbish a Lithuanian power station in 2004-2005. They were instructed by Ed Grange of Corker Binning and represented the client through to appeal.
