R v Stanley & Brenya

A fraudster who spent over £100,000 in 20 days and then attempted to resist arrest by using ammonia to assault a police officer was sentenced on 15th August at Inner London Crown Court. Jovan Stanley pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud and assault (using a corrosive fluid). He was sentenced to three years and eight months’ imprisonment.

Samuel Brenya pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud and possession of criminal property and was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
