Mark Ellison QC acted for Chevron in relation to the lengthy police and HSE investigations related to the explosion at its Pembroke Refinery in 2011 which caused a number of deaths.
Chevron pleaded guilty to health and safety offences in 2018 and was sentenced today 6 June 2019 at Swansea Crown Court to a fine of £5m.
