R v NC (2016)

Fallon Alexis, led by David Jeremy QC, successfully defended NC at the Central Criminal Court for conspiracy to murder and preparation of acts of terrorism.

Following a trial that lasted for almost three months, of conspiracy to murder and preparation of acts of terrorism, he was accused of acting as armourer for a terrorist assassination plot. He was acquitted on 23 March 2016.

Operation Exactness is said to be the largest case that the Counter Terrorism Command has dealt with to date in the UK.

The two co-defendants were convicted.
