Adam King prosecuted Corey Allard, 21, who deliberately drove a car into a police officer in Market Square in Aylesbury on 13th February, 2018.
Mr Allard was found guilty of dangerous driving and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at Aylesbury Crown Court. He was given a custodial sentence of 21 years.
The officer was taken to hospital with head injuries, but has since returned to work.
