HCPC v O (2015)

Instructed by Kingsley Napley, Tom Orpin-Massey represented the Health and Care professions Council before a Conduct and Competence Committee.

The registrant forensic psychologist was accused of having conducted adult appropriate tests on a child due to appear before a criminal court, and then manipulating the results of those tests improperly. The case involved expert evidence. The panel found the facts proved, that the facts amounted to misconduct., and that the registrant's fitness to practice was impaired. His registration was made subject to conditions of practice.
