Tobias Robinson

  • Tobias joined chambers in September 2025 and was called to the bar by Middle Temple in October 2025, his pupil supervisor is Philip Stott.

    Experience 

    Before studying at the University of Oxford, Tobias spent a year and a half working at Eagle House School as a 1:1 teacher for autistic children as well as working the night shift at Sainsbury’s.

    Tobias studied Jurisprudence with Law Studies in Europe at Lincoln College, Oxford. In his third year he studied Spanish Law in Barcelona excelling in Criminal Law. His particular focus whilst at Oxford was the criminal law, namely sexual offences and theoretical justifications for punishment. He graduated with an Upper Second-Class degree.

    Whilst on the Bar Course, Tobias was awarded a distinction in Advanced Criminal Advocacy which he specialised in and also wrote a dissertation on the stereotypes and biases within sexual offence cases.

    Outside of work Tobias is a keen football fan and sportsman. In his free time, he is likely to be running, cycling or reading at home.
