The British Boxing Board of Control oversees British professional boxing. It licenses all those involved in the sport, including Boxers and their Managers, Promoters, Ring Masters, Trainers and Referees.

The Stewards of Appeal are a panel of experienced lawyers, independent from the Board, who are called upon to hear formal appeals by licence holders against decisions of the Board or an Area Council.

Selva is honoured to have been appointed to this panel. This appointment complements his practice in sports law and his established role as a Member of the Independent Judicial Panel for the Lawn Tennis Association.
