Two men imprisoned for four-and-a-half years in IPTV private prosecution

David Groome and Ari Alibhai were instructed by the Premier League. 

Two men were sentenced to four and half years' imprisonment after pleading guilty to their involvement in a sophisticated multi-million pound multi-national fraud. 

Between them they they took over 1.5 million pounds through the provision of an illegal television service. This service focused upon obtaining unlawful access to Premier League broadcasts which they subsequently supplied to pubs and commercial properties across the North-East.
