Adam King and Tom Orpin-Massey represent man acquitted of multi-million pound conspiracy to receive and export snatched mobile phones

At Southwark Crown Court, Mr M, represented by Adam King and Tom Orpin-Massey, instructed throughout by Iram Iqbal of ABV Solicitors, was acquitted after the prosecution offered no evidence against him on charges of conspiracy to receive criminal property, conspiracy to transfer criminal property, and membership of an organised crime group.

The case against Mr M and three others was that they had received thousands of high value mobile phones snatched from the hands of people in central London. The phones were said to have been gathered, disabled, and processed for export to Dubai at a shop on Wood Green, for second hand sale in countries including India and Afghanistan.

Mr M's co-accused accepted the case against them, and the Crown, on re-review of the case against Mr M, and on hearing representations, offered no evidence against him on all matters
