Arabella MacDonald prosecutes stalking case involving franchise producer

Arabella MacDonald of QEB Hollis Whiteman has prosecuted R v Daniel Wilson at Southwark Crown Court, in which the defendant admitted stalking and related offences against a high profile and well known film producer.

Daniel Wilson, aged 37, appeared before the court on 2 March 2026 and entered guilty pleas to one count of stalking and two counts of breaching a restraining order. He had repeatedly contacted the victim in breach of his restraining order over a number of years, between April 2022 and February 2025. By his plea he has admitted this amounts to stalking, which has caused the victim serious alarm and distress.

The defendant has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing. A date for sentence will be set on 9 March 2026. An application for an indefinite restraining order will be made.
