David Spens QC successfully represented Loushawn Barnes,19, who was unanimously found not guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court of the murder of Daniel Laskos,16, who was stabbed in the neck.
Barnes was among a group of five attackers, caught on CCTV closely chasing Laskos, all armed, the others with knives yet was acquitted of both murder and manslaughter despite himself being armed with a metal pole.
