Paul Raudnitz KC secures successful appeal against sentence in the Op Wellbond, 14 Delaford Road quadruple homicide case.

Paul Raudnitz KC represented Joshua Jacques before the Court of Appeal, who, at first instance, had been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 46 years for the 14 Delaford Road quadruple murder case.

On appeal against sentence, Paul Raudnitz KC successfully argued that the 46 year minimum was manifestly excessive and out of step with recent sentencing authority at the cusp of “whole life” tariffs. The Court of Appeal substituted a minimum term of 43 years. Paul was instructed by Brett Loveday of Tuckers Solicitors.
