Four guilty of drive-by shooting at congregation leaving memorial service. Zoe Johnson KC and Philip McGhee prosecute

Four men were convicted by a jury at Kingston-Upon-Thames Crown Court on Thursday 15 February 2024 in relation to a drive-by shooting targeting mourners leaving a memorial service at St Aloysius RC Church near Euston Station on 14 January 2023.

Over half-a-dozen people were wounded by the shotgun used by the offenders, including children aged under 11. Zoe Johnson KC and Philip Stott of QEB Hollis Whiteman acted for the prosecution. Tyrell Lacroix, Alrico Nelson-Martin, Jordan Walters and Jashy Perch were all convicted of conspiring to wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Alrico Nelson-Martin was also convicted of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life. They will be sentenced on 12 April 2024.

Zoe Johnson KC and Philip Stott were instructed by the CPS.
