Zoe Johnson KC secured the acquittal of a doctor working in the Accident and Emergency Department of Fairfield Hospital, Bury. He was accused of sexual assault, ignoring the hospital’s chaperone policy and contacting the patient.
A doctor has been on trial this week after being accused of sexually assaulting one of his patients. The assault is reported to have taken place when he was performing an assessment on a woman at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury in January 2021. However, a jury at Bolton Crown Court has found the doctor not guilty of the charge.
