GCC v Akindele (2018) EWHC 336 (Admin)

Thomas Coke-Smyth represented the General Chiropractic Council (‘GCC’) in a case against a chiropractor for failing to inform the GCC of a criminal conviction.

The dishonesty allegations were made out and the chiropractor suspended. The findings and sanction were appealed to the High Court where the appeal was successfully defence and the sanction of suspension was deemed appropriate.
