Natasha Tahta presented the case on behalf of the GDC against two registrants for misconduct which involved the treatment of a nervous patient under sedation.
The decision made at half-time was the subject of Judicial Review and the case became a precedent on the issue of whether misconduct can be considered by tribunals on a half time submission at the factual stage.
Counsel was instructed by Harry McNeilly of the GDC.
