Successful fitness to practise proceedings against world-renowned cardiologist Professor Phillip Bonhoeffer for historical sexual abuse of young boys over several years, including Kenyan boys whose education he was sponsoring.
The proceedings included a number of logistical difficulties, not least the reluctance of key witnesses abroad to attend (necessitating video-links) and the absence of Prof. Bonhoeffer.
