Katherine Lloyd appears for defendant acquitted at the Central Criminal Court

Katherine Lloyd represented a 40-year-old man who was today acquitted of murder and manslaughter following a 10-week trial at the Central Criminal Court.

The prosecution case was that Katherine’s client was involved in a joint enterprise shooting in the early hours of 21 September 2025. Katherine’s client was the first defendant on the indictment, and the jury had to consider cut-throat defences. The case involved a forensic review and deconstruction of the Crown’s analysis of the CCTV.

Katherine was led by David Rhodes KC of Doughty Street and instructed by Amjid Jabbar of Stokoe Partnership Solicitors.
