Lydia Barnfather prosecuted in proceedings before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, which resulted in a Manchester solicitor being struck off the Roll.
The tribunal heard that the solicitor had sent inappropriate, unwanted and sexually motivated messages to three women over several years, including a barrister whom he had met in a professional capacity.
The conduct continued despite repeated requests for it to stop and, while investigations were underway, further inappropriate communications were made to other women.
The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal approved the solicitor's admissions, finding the allegations proved.
He was struck off the Roll of Solicitors and ordered to pay £75,000 in costs.
