On 8 April 2025 an Independent Appeals Committee convened to consider the appeal brought by professional snooker player Mark King against the findings and sanction imposed by the Independent Disciplinary Committee of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA).
The Appeal was heard by a panel chaired by Philip Evans KC.
On 13 May 2025, the Independent Appeals Committee issued its decision, refusing Mr King’s appeal. The original findings and sanctions apply.
