Hearings Resume in The Lampard Inquiry

Hearings for The Lampard Inquiry resumed on Monday 2 February 2026. Nicholas Griffin KC is CTI and Rebecca Harris KC is Deputy CTI, leading Thomas Coke-Smyth, Anna Draper and supported by Joanna Warwick of QEB Hollis Whiteman.

The Lampard Inquiry is examining mental health inpatient deaths in Essex between 2000 and 2023 and is the first statutory public inquiry in England to focus specifically on mental health services. Hearings are considering the evidence from families, NHS Trusts and other participants – with the aim of identifying lessons and making recommendations for improvement.
