R v ER (2020)

Tom was instructed by Naz Baig of Waterfords Solicitors. ER had been charged with drug dealing after being found with heroin and cocaine on his person. ER accepted possession but not onward intent to supply. After written representations were made to the CPS that it was not in the public interest to take the matter to trial, and with reference to the CPS covid guidance on charging and the public interest, the CPS accepted the pleas and basis. ER was fined.
