PC A appeared at a Gross Misconduct hearing following his plea to causing serious injury by careless driving.
The case highlighted the vulnerability of Officers who drive covert cars in police driving situations to charges of Careless Driving and, more importantly, Gross Misconduct proceedings that increasingly follow these type of convictions.
