Zoe Johnson KC and Fraser Coxhill of QEB Hollis Whiteman (instructed by the CPS Homicide Unit) prosecuted Dualla Abdi, 21, and Ben Laing, 24, who were convicted of murder. The case involved the fatal stabbing of Tyreece Scott in Hounslow against the background of drug dealing. Both were sentenced to life imprisonment with minimum terms of 22 years. Reda Mohamed and Morgan Allen delayed the course of justice by facilitating the murderers’ escape to Morocco.
