Lawn Tennis Association v B (2019)

Selva Ramasamy QC acted pro bono in this LTA case, heard by Sport Resolutions.

Sport Resolutions is the independent dispute resolution service for UK sport, established by the main stakeholder groups in sport as an alternative to internal appeals processes and court-based litigation. The case involved restrictions imposed on a tennis player arising from safeguarding issues. Following lengthy negotiations with the LTA, Selva obtained written clarification from the LTA which made the arrangements workable from the perspective of the LTA and the player, thereby avoiding the need for a contested hearing.
