Oliver Mosley prosecutes serious burning and cruelty to a child under 16

Following a trial at Kingston Crown Court, the defendant was convicted of wounding his young daughter as well as child cruelty over a number of years. The defendant had intentionally burnt his daughter with boiling water as a ‘punishment’, causing life-long scarring to large parts of her body.

He had failed to seek medical treatment for the burns, and had failed to ensure her education over a number of years, resulting in a number of developmental and health issues.

Oliver was instructed by the CPS London South. Reporting restrictions apply.
