Instructed as leading junior in prosecution and confiscation proceedings. King was convicted of conspiracy to defraud the operators of pay-tv by supplying over 1,000 public houses with television systems which enabled access to SKY, BT and other broadcasters' output without payment being made to those broadcasters, generating over £5 million in the process. King received a sentence of 7 years and 4 months imprisonments and a confiscation order of almost £1 million in hidden assets.
